DESCRIPTION:This is another RSCM Singing on Saturday event at the Anglican Church in Den Haag.  We will have a joyful day of exploring the wide variety of ways that Psalm texts have been sung throughout the church’s history.  Focus will be placed on music and anthems that we can take home and use to broaden our own choirs’ repertoires. DESCRIPTION:At this event 200 years of Anglican presence in Brussels will be celebrated. Our hosts will be the Pro-cathedral of Holy trinity Brussels\, and the venue will be the Eglise Royale. \nSingers from choirs all over NW Europe  will assemble for a day of singing led by Piers Maxim. Rehearsals to be held in the morning and early afternoon\, leading up to a service of Choral Evensong  at the end of the day. \nMusic will be based on the new RSCM Festival Book ‘King of Glory\, King of Peace’. A special “way ahead” discount is available – contact us for details. \nAlong with music from the book \,we will be singing the Byrd preces and responses (ed. Watkins Shaw\, OUP/CMS)\, a piece by Piers\, and a new commission by composer Stevie Wishart.
